An Urban Renewal Project in the Heart of the City

At the corner of Jerusalem Boulevard and Kehilat Canada Street in Tel Aviv–Jaffa, Ashtrom Engineering & Construction is beginning construction of a new residential complex spanning approximately 8 dunams, as part of a significant transformation of the area. Developed for Acro Real Estate, the project will offer a mixed-use environment combining residential, commercial, and public spaces, with a total built area of approximately 64,000 sqm.
   
The project will feature seven residential buildings constructed above a three-level underground parking garage, including a 19-story tower, four 9-story buildings, and two 15-story buildings. Altogether, the development will offer 388 apartments ranging from 2- to 5-room units, along with penthouses boasting panoramic sea views. A daycare center complex will be incorporated into the ground and first floors. Occupancy is expected to commence in 2030.

As part of the project, existing buildings along Jerusalem Boulevard will be demolished, followed by advanced foundation and shoring works tailored to local groundwater conditions. Given the site’s proximity to a fuel station, specialized slurry wall techniques will be implemented to address groundwater contamination. Construction of the underground parking levels will include deep excavation and dewatering works across much of the site.

The project will also involve the relocation and preservation of approximately 30 trees, reflecting a commitment to the surrounding environment. Located in a vibrant urban setting, construction will be carefully managed to minimize disruption, with ongoing attention to nearby residents, traffic, and pedestrian activity at all times.
