Largest Beam Bridge Built by Ashcrete
The Gazelle Bridge spans Highway 22, covering the entire Krayot area in Haifa Bay. At 450 meters in length and 22 meters wide, it is the largest beam bridge produced by Ashcrete and has significantly improved traffic flow since its opening.
Ashcrete manufactured a variety of industrialized concrete beams with different cross-sections at its Ashdod plant, adhering to the bridge’s design specifications. The construction and assembly of these elements on-site were challenging due to the bridge's length and the need to maintain uninterrupted vehicle traffic nearby.
