Mixed-Use Complex in the Heart of Jerusalem

Located near the iconic Mahane Yehuda Market, the KIH project is a unique mixed-use project in the heart of Jerusalem. The complex features two 30-story towers, each comprising 199 residential units, along with six floors dedicated to office space, commercial areas, and a hotel, all situated above a six-level underground parking facility. Built on a 6,000-square-meter plot with a total built-up area of 89,000 square meters, the project is scheduled for completion and occupancy in 2031.

The project is currently in the excavation stage and presents the on-site teams with particularly complex engineering and operational challenges. Among them is a preserved structure within the project area, which must be “suspended” above ground to allow excavation beneath it. In addition, the western commercial façade is designed to appear as if it “floats” above the Mahane Yehuda Market, while the southern tower façade will extend over Agrippas Street. Due to these complexities, the Top-Down construction method was selected for the project’s execution.

The project's proximity to the bustling Mahane Yehuda Market demands heightened caution and meticulous planning to ensure the safety and convenience of shoppers, visitors, and pedestrians throughout all working hours.
