Production of Concrete Beams for a Bridge

The bridge over Secher Creek was erected for the Neot Hovav Local Council; it is 75 metres long and 10 metres wide.

Ashcrete manufactured the beams pretensioned and the beam ends with stepped brackets. The beams are up to 35 m. long and reach a height of up to 1.8 m.; each one weighs about 100 tonnes. To build the bridge 3 spans were formed, two of them 20 metres long and a central span 35 metres long. The bridging work involving the spans posed a serious engineering challenge for the field crews.
