An Evacuation-Construction Project in the Heart of a Dense Urban Area

The residential project on Sokolov Street in Netanya is an evacuation-construction initiative involving the demolition of old buildings with 62 housing units. In their place, three modern towers are being constructed, spanning a total area of over 43,000 square meters and offering 264 housing units. The project features two 23-story towers, each with 89 housing units, and a 22-story tower with 86 housing units.

The new residential complex includes a ground floor with commercial areas and kindergartens, a level designated for technical facilities, and four underground parking levels spanning a total area of 17,751 square meters.

This project exemplifies engineering innovation, requiring the field teams to conduct precise logistical management while addressing complex challenges. During the groundwater treatment phase, meticulous work was carried out at the base of the excavation to manage significant quantities of water effectively. Another significant challenge was the limited access to the construction site, located in a dense urban area near residential buildings and educational institutions. The project was predominantly carried out during a time of war, necessitating flexibility and dynamic management of the construction process.

The limited storage space on-site required the use of special Baranovich molds with ratchet scaffolding, enabling the construction of the towers without the need to lower the molds to the ground. Additionally, to adhere to the tight schedule, all three towers were constructed simultaneously, demonstrating efficient coordination and execution.
